When I retired and moved back to Edinburgh after living in France, I resumed writing books as a hobby. Previously most of my books were on non-fiction themes but I enjoy reading crime fiction and decided to write a series of stories around a historian who is fed up of teaching history and has an unfortunate knack of coming across crimes in the cities in which he finds himself. The first book was set in Paris and the next two stories were set in Edinburgh. I have returned to my native city of Dundee for this latest book. I had the idea when I was blown away by the holograms/avatars in the show ABBA Voyage and decided that the new(ish) V&A Museum of Design in Dundee would provide a good setting. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
